Cookie Policy

A shop that asks for nothing at the door should not ask for anything at the page either. This one sets no cookies at all, and the short list below is everything it does keep.
1. This site sets no cookies
Not an advertising cookie, not an analytics cookie, not a functional one. Open your browser's developer tools on any page here and the cookie list is empty.
There is no Google Analytics on this site, no Meta pixel, no advertising tag of any kind, and no session recording tool. Nothing here can follow you to another website, because nothing here is watching in the first place.
2. What is kept in your browser
Three things, all of them on your own device and readable only by this site:
- An offline copy of the pages. A service worker keeps the five pages, the stylesheet and the icons so a second visit opens from your disk rather than the network. It holds the site's own files and nothing about you. It is cleared with your browsing data, and it is never installed over an insecure connection.
- One timestamp on the appointment page. When a request is sent, the moment is written down so the same request cannot be sent again within the minute. It is a courtesy against a double tapped button, not a security control, and a browser that refuses to store it is allowed to send anyway.
- Your own browser settings. The reduced motion preference, your zoom level, the text size. The site reads the reduced motion setting to decide whether to animate; reading it stores nothing.
3. Why there is no consent banner
Consent is what a site needs before storing something on your device for its own purposes, above all for advertising or for following you between sites. This site does neither.
The offline copy and the one timestamp are both there to make the thing you came for work, and storage that is strictly necessary for a service you asked for does not need a banner. A banner asking permission for nothing would be a click in your way and nothing more.
If that ever changes, a banner will appear before the thing it is asking about loads, and refusing will be one click and will work.
4. What a page loads from somewhere else
On every page except the appointment page and the private admin screen: nothing. Every stylesheet, script, typeface and image comes from adrianojewelry.com. A content security policy on each page enforces that rather than trusting it, so a third party script added carelessly would fail to load rather than quietly begin tracking.
The appointment page is the one exception. When you press send, and only then, it fetches Google's Firebase library and writes your request to our database. Nothing is fetched before that moment and nothing is fetched if you never send.
There is no embedded map, no social media widget, no typeface served from Google, and no video player anywhere on this site.
5. Clearing any of it
Your browser's Clear browsing data control removes the offline copy and the timestamp. A private window keeps neither between sessions.
A content blocker changes nothing on this site, because there is nothing here for it to block. Every page will look and work exactly the same.
6. Links that leave this site
The Facebook and Instagram links in the footer are plain links. Nothing from either platform loads on our pages, and neither can see you until you follow one, at which point that company's policy applies and ours stops.
How we handle information you actually give us, in the shop or through the appointment form, is set out in the privacy policy.
